Amidst all the World Cup fever, this print ad titled “The Not-So-Beautiful Game” draws attention to some of the event’s more negative side effects: Domestic violence, for example, increases by 26 percent when England play and jumps to 38 percent when the country loses. “If England get beaten,” reads the tagline, “so will she.”
